My name is Alison. I'm 23 years old. I'm a student, currently attending Columbia College online, majoring in Business Administration. I also work two jobs- one as a make-up artist at Ulta Salon and Cosmetics, the other as a shift leader at Gail Borden Public Library. Yes, both of these jobs are very different, but I am a very eclectic person.
In the last few years, I've been unhappy with a lot of things in my life. I've bounced around from different schools, changed my major, changed jobs, and have been trying to figure out what I want out of life. After reading Kimberly's blog and being inspired, I've decided that I wanted to do my own happiness project. I just downloaded The Happiness Project (by Gretchen Rubin) to my Kindle, and I'm excited for the journey ahead.
(A quick note on the "owl eyes" thing- I have had many people tell me I look like an owl because of my big, round eyes. Some meant it as a compliment, some as an insult. But I have embraced it, and owls are now one of my favorite things.)
